Horseshoe Crabs have been on this planet for over 450 million years, existing almost unchanged throughout that whole time.  In today's world they continue to nest on beaches, but they are threatened by human expansion and use.  Stop by the New Jersey State Museum to learn more about these amazing creatures, or visit them in-person at the shore!
